Although this walk is in the programme as an Easy B/SHW, the leaders feel that this could also be an interesting walk for any C+ walkers who would like to tackle it as a Slow Hill Walk and they would be very welcome.

Milngavie in Bloom Spring dates

Posted 18/02/19

The spring dates have now been fixed for Thursdays 14th March, 11th April, and 9th May.  If you can spare a couple of hours, you’d be very welcome, to help maintain the first section of the West Highland Way in Milngavie.  There are usually about 6 Rambler volunteers there at each session.  We meet at the new wall just up from the start of the WHW at 10.00 and  work until 12.00 with a coffee and biscuits break kindly provided by Milngavie in Bloom volunteers.  It can involve general tidying, planting and weeding.  No skill required, and tools are provided, so just bring enthusiasm and yourselves.  If you are interested, please  contact Imogen Johnstone for further details, or just turn up in your gardening clothes.
