New Walks Programme

Posted 13/02/18
The time has come again to put together the next walking programme. This programme covers the period from the beginning of May till the end of August. A few of our stalwarts of the programme are standing down from leading walks so we are looking for new walk leaders particularly for the C or D walks but are also looking for leaders who are prepared to put on some Slow Hill Walks.
After our recent meeting it was decided that walk descriptions should include guidance on pace of walk, steepness of the ascent and whether walks are on tracks, roads or open moorland so that people could better gauge whether they are fit for the walk , rather than concentrating on route descriptions.
All walks should be forwarded to Dave Clark email  David.clark55@googlemail.com  He looks forward to receiving some good summer walks descriptions.  All completed walk descriptions must be with Dave by the end of March at the very latest.
