The "Wednesday Wanderers" undertake walks of a reasonable length (usually at C or C+ grades) every second Wednesday, alternating with the Short Walks Programme.
The walks start at 09:30 from Tesco’s Car Park and usually involve a pub lunch or similar form of refreshment. So packed lunches or snacks don’t need to be carried.
The route and destination of the next walk is decided on the day of the current one.
